Deception has never come easy for me...However, this game of Truth or Lies was a piece of cake...I had most of you fooled!
So. Here is the TRUTH!
- TRUE! Devon was seen on TV holding a "Bo Knows Ballet" sign at Angels Stadium. It was later talked about in the LA Times and Sports Illustrated.
- TRUE! He frequently visited the Indian Reservation to play Keno. I'm sure all the change is what paid for many of our dates.
- TRUE! He has never been to a PRO FOOTBALL Game!
- LIE! He loves Sushi (Big SURPRISE!), but hates FRUIT!
- TRUE! He met the man who invented Roller Blades at Tri City Park. The man was test-driving his pair around the park and Devon thought his skates looked really strange and asked him about them.
- TRUE! To impress his friends he took his Dad's car for a Joy Ride while his parents were out of town.
- LIE! He never entered the Iron County Fair, but he did have a Rabbit.
- TRUE! While under peer pressure (so he says) he pushed the pedal to the medal on the 55 FRWY and reached 140 mph. Luckily, he didn't get caught!
- TRUE! He has never taken a sip of alcohol...what a good boy!
- LIE! Perfect Seminary Attendance...6am Seminary...yeah, right!
- LIE! His first time in snow was was at age 14....not 19.
- LIE! Devon was devastated when I suggested dating other people...that's another story...he claims "we were on a break."
- TRUE! While riding bikes, with his mom, he crossed in front of her without looking and she went flying over her handlebars, landed on the pavement, and broke both of her arms at the same time!
- LIE! He hates amusement rides...especially roller coasters!
- TRUE! He really, for truly, wanted to name Blake, Diego!
- TRUE! His ear rang for weeks after my brother, Michael, popped a pop rock in his ear.
- TRUE! Sad, but true, his favorite song in Middle School was sung by Richard Marx.
- LIE! His second car was a 1988 Honda Prelude. His fist car was a Buick SkyHawk.
- LIE! He was never in Choir.
- LIE! He thought he might die when a spider (non-poisonous) bit his foot and we rushed to Insta-Care...but it was never life-threatening.
We have two winners...I thought I would spread the Birthday Love and send one to Darci (Devon's sister...she had it in the bag) and one to a non-family member...Carol! Thanks for playing girls, I'll be in touch!

I don't know how I feel about the answer to #18. Mom and Dad bought that car from Grandpa to help Grandpa and not for Devon! Hmmm.... It was still a family car I think. The Honda was the first car that they bought just for us to drive. But that is what I remember I am willing to say I could be wrong.
Otherwise I am proud to say that I got all of them right! Love ya Devon.

Wow! This is so unexpected, I don't even have a speech ready. However, I feel like I should say a few words.
First, I would like to say how honored I am to win such a prestigous award. I would like to thank my family for their support and understanding of my love for the internet, the internet for always being there and Kim for her creative blogs. I couldn't have done it without them.
Just Kidding! I am totally excited that I won. I never win anything. I hope Devon had an awesome birthday and again this was so fun Kim!
That's funny...I'm glad NOW we know the truth about Devon. Ha ha! That's a really cute birthday idea...maybe I'll steal it for Joe's.
