This blog has my name in it's title, but I have yet added a word....until now! I believe I have boycotted the blog, because my name comes after
Kimberly's. That is so silly, who has ever seen a blog title with the women's name before the man's, it's unnatural. But I got to thinking, it's Mother's Day, and she did take
DowDell as a last name! So in the spirit of Mother's Day, I
concede my name to second, and dedicate this blog as a tribute to my lovely wife Kimberly on Mother's Day.
Let's start with the below image... Kimberly's first Mother's Day card on the left, as well as the 4
Th, and now the 5
Th Mother's Day card. Now the last card is so cute. Taylor made it herself for Kimberly.

Now most people know that Kimberly is a wonderful Mother. Below are my 10 reasons I think she is the best.
10. She is a great cook (just look how fat I am getting!!!)
9. She's one of the most friendly & Kind people you will ever meet
8. Loves & honors her
Parents, and brother and sister
7. Always willing to help others, and finds time to do so with three little kids
6. Beautiful as the day I first saw her
5. She has a warm smile that makes people happy when they are around her
4. Patience of a Saint (have you ever taken Luke to a restaurant?)
3. A loving and nurturing mother to four kids (She counts me as one of them!)
2. Great mother, and my best friend
1. Loves her Family, and Sacrifices for them everyday

Above is a picture of
Luke from our Mother's Day at the beach. He fell into a deep crevice in the rock, of course I had to rock climb with no
safety gear to save him.
OK, well here is the real story, Luke actually showed me the way out, before I could jump down and save him. He was in no trouble, but a very brave explorer. Of course Taylor was a little less likely to explore the depths of the dark cave on the beach. Luke had to coax Taylor into the
entrance for the below picture,
that's as far as she would go.

Below we have the family on the beach. We ran into a guy from my work, and asked him to take this picture below. The kids were so distracted by the waves crashing around us. I like the way
Kimberly,
Blake, and myself look in this picture. The back or Taylor and
Luke's head makes it an interesting picture of the family though.

It was a beautiful Mother's Day in San Diego. Though Kimberly held tears back from being away from her Mother on Mothers Day, it was a perfect day to celebrate a wonderful Mother.

Okay, Devon gets great big shout outs for being so sweet on Mother's Day. I always love the pictures of the kids.
I agree--I'm very impressed! I told Joe that Devon did a special Mother's Day blog...I'm sure he was wishing he had thought of it first! Happy Mother's Day to the world's best sister!
Way to score some extra brownie points Devon! I can't believe it was Mother's Day yesterday, life was too crazy to even enjoy it! It looks like your family had a fun day at the beach!
Way to go Devon!! I wonder if Bob will ever do anything on our blog...his name is first! What great pictures. I pictured Luke running across the sand and falling into that crevice. He looks so excited in that picture...like he was hiding and waiting excitedly for you to find him. Cute family! We love you!!
I can't beieve how many adventures you have as a family. Grandpa's name isn't even on my blog I guess I am just selfish. Oh well, what a cute family and that wonderful beach. How would it be.
