My Little China Doll

Taylor went off on her own today to play up in her room and this is how she arrived once back downstairs. It doesn't show up as much in the pictures, but her eyes are covered in blue eyeshadow and black eyeliner and her lips are smudged up to her nose with lipstick and lipgloss. One of her most favorite things in the entire world is to raid my make up drawer. She is all girl, what can I say? She is just like her mom.
The beautiful kimono was contributed by Grandpa Johnson. Who knows what she will be inspired to dress up as next. She told me I had to take a picture and put it on my blog because, as she said, "oh, it would just be soooo cute!"

Just a little note: Blake is doing great! His ear tube surgery was a success and we are all glad to have it over with! He is just as happy, playful, and content as ever. Maybe now I can get some sleep at night!

Oooooo La La! I love how she's carefully smiling so she doesn't mess up her lipstick. Cute girl!

You should hear how she talks when she is wearing that much lipstick. She holds her lips in the same position without moving them. It's pretty funny.

Oh, what cute kids and I am glad Blake is mending after his surgery. As for Taylor she is so much a GROWN UP LITTLE GIRL. I think that she is just beautiful in her rpbe and gloss lipstick and blue eye shadow. What great parents you are!!

You look really good in that picture of you and Helen at the beach. Taylor looks good in her kimono, but I'm a little jealous 'cause grandpa Johnson didn't bring me a kimono home from Japan...it would've been really good if there were a girl in the kimono.

What a girl!! I can just picture her talking without moving her lips too much. She is such a Kimberly! You would have done something like that. We'll have to give dad the assignment of bringing home a girl in the kimono next time for Michael!
