Poor girl! No matter what we do or what size pants she wears, we are constantly telling her to pull her pants up. They just won't stay up. She has no bum! Last week, at school, her teacher told her that the next time she wore "that" skirt that she needed to wear a belt. I think we have tried the belt thing and it just doesn't matter. Is she forever doomed to have her bum hanging out?

Poor Taylor...that's so funny...her bum really is ALWAYS hanging out. Atleast she still has a cute little bum...it wouldn't be so cute if say MY bum were hanging out all the time!
I have a flat bum problem too. I get into trouble with the low rider pants. Funny post.
Oh Taylor...we'd hate to see her expelled for indecent exposure. Maybe those 80's pants that have really high waist bands will come back in style. YIKES!!
That is so funny! We just took a picture of Emma like that today and then accidentaly erased it off our camera! I am glad that Emma isn't the only one with her little bum hanging out!!!
Ah, tell the teacher to leave her little bum alone. She's too cute to worry about any of that. Now if it were my bum that was poking out...oy vey...
Isn't there a Saturday Night Live sketch where they make a thong for a baby? Maybe the teacher would rather see that...
Yeah, it seems like we've all been telling her that ever since she was walking. That's funny that her teacher even told her how to dress properly! How does that make you feel as a parent?
Did that make Taylor cry? I think that she is just too cute to have a problem. Just buy her high waisted pants she has a long waist and this is something I have always wanted. Just think, she would be right in style in HOLLYWOOD except she is beautiful, talented, and all of the things that go with it.
Good thing high-waisted pants are back in style- or you could just buy her pants in a size two!
Heh, it's funny how this is a universal problem. Your blog struck really close to home for me. I'm a 28 year old guy, who also has no bum and a VERY long and high waist. This means that, just like Emma, my white bum is always hanging out. I could post a dozen pictures to illustrate my point, but I'm sure you wouldn't want to see them. My bum is not nearly as cute as Emma's!
It seems most of the women in my life (my mom, my wife, my sister) have tried to figure out some sort of way to fix this problem for me (different kinds of jeans, stretchy boxers, belts etc.) but unfortunately, nothing seems to work.
This has been a problem for as long as I can remember (at least since elementary school), and I used to always fret about it. But by now I've pretty much given up on trying to fight it, since it seems inevitable. Sure, I'm known as the "butt crack guy" at work, and I occasionally get teased by friends and family, but--kidding aside--most of the people I'm close to have learned to accept me for who I am, butt crack and all!
I honestly do feel bad that people have to see my butt on a regular basis, but I figure I'm a nice guy so hopefully that makes up for it...
And hopefully, if Emma is also cursed with this problem for much of her life, the same will be true for her :)
