Good Day/ Bad Day

Mr. Independent, Blake, adding his own "BAM" to our Smoothie!

Bad Day:
  • Subbing Pilates to Solana Beach Yoga Snobs!
  • Thanking them for attending my class and "tolerating" Pilates for one day and having someone tell me that "tolerate" was the right word!
  • Arriving at 7:45am for an 8am class, with all three kids in tote and discovering that the Kids Club didn't open until 9am.
  • Watching my HUGE pile of unfolded laundry glare at me!
  • Not washing my hair...does not make pretty hair, rather, ugly, greasy, post-exercise hair.
  • Rainy day...it really puts a damper on my 75 degree California lifestyle! And, it only makes the (already) ugly hair, even uglier.
Good Day:
  • Exercising! Getting oxygen to those muscles of mine always makes me feel good!
  • Being grateful, for one moment, that the recently unemployed husband (Yes, he, along with 2500 other employees, was laid off last Tuesday...sniff, sniff) was home to pick up the kids since there was NO Kids Club!
  • Cleaning my house.
  • Hiring a babysitter to have some alone time, with the husband, to go see this movie, and loved it!
  • Listening to Luke sing the theme song to Transformers.
  • Taylor drawing me pretty pictures.
  • Blake laughing and helping me make a Smoothie!
  • Eating a square of Nestle Toll House Cookie dough, sipping a coke and sharing a piece of Chocolate cake...aaahhh, if that doesn't make a good day, I don't know what does.
  • And, having a good laugh while looking at this and remembering the good ol' Utah Hair Days!

I think you've got it all figured out. Cookie dough and coke can fix ANYTHING.

Stupid SB snobs. What do they know anyway?

Loved your lists!

Sorry about the snobs, nothing bothers me more than snobs. That movie looks so good, now only to convince Brett to see a chick movie!!!

I am really glad that you know what cures everything and that is chocolate. I am so very proud of you and how you are handling the trials because you and Devon really know what matters. Love you so very much. Devon is really a very smart young man and he will make everything okay.

Utah hair...so funny...some girls still look like that here, too! I wish I had some cookie dough and chocolate cake right now!

Oh the good ol'days. Do you remember when we moved to California and you had to stop the Utah hair thing, started saying "guy" instead of "oh my heck", etc. Too funny!

So Solana Beach is full of snobs huh? You should have really given them a workout to remember.

Glad the hair made you laugh. Sorry about the snobs and the pile of laundry. I hate laundry too and I hate greasy hair days. I also hate rainy days. Jeff always buys that chocolate chip cookie dough to make cookies for his class and I love sneaking it. There is something so good about cookie dough. I want to come to your pilates class and be the un-snob. I will be grateful for anything you can teach my sadly unflexible body. Can I still come on Saturday?

ooohh I'm not real happy about the "tolerate" comment. I can't believe that. They just are mad cuz they know they will never look as good as you!
