Who Me?

I admit it! I am either having bloggers-block, or my life has turned completely boring...which explains the lack of posts.

I could write and tell you about Disco Dancing with 4th Graders, today's Primary Program {{Luke memorized his part--very cute}}, or my NEW Vinyl Lettering hits!

I could also tell you about my friends dog getting shot for stealing a chicken {{I told you I can't relate to this place}}, getting my hair cut and high-lighted by a newbie at the salon, being invited to my first official "girls night out" here in CC {{maybe there is hope for me here after all}} and visiting, in person, with one of my best friends from SD this weekend {{w00-hoo}}

However, I figured since I have been tagged numerous times...it was time to make good on one of those tags. So. Here it goes, 6 Quirks about me!

1. I cannot go to bed without brushing my teeth or washing my face! No matter how tired I am, I always force myself to cleanse, tone, and moisturize my face and brush and floss my teeth!

2. I have said this before, but I L.O.V.E. musicals and teenage flicks. When I was in Elementary School, I really wanted my life to be a musical. I would skip around the playground, at recess, singing "dumb dog why are you following me...," or "do a deer a female deer, ray a drop of golden sun...."

3. When showering and getting dressed, I always do everything in the EXACT same order. I always put on my makeup BEFORE drying my hair. When applying my makeup, I always start on the right side of my face and can't put on eyeliner before eyeshadow, etc. I also, always, wear makeup! It's a rare thing if you see me without it or with just mascara on.

4. I workout everyday. Sometimes twice a day...those are the days that I teach at the gym. If I don't workout I start to feel stressed out and anxious. Exercise always calms my anxieties. Also, when I jog on the treadmill, my mind can't handle it if I don't start on my right foot, and, if I increase the speed or incline on an odd minute. For example, I can't increase the speed at 1:58, it has to be on 2:00 EXACTLY.

5. I can't sleep in. This is an inherited curse from my father {{thanks Dad}}. My brain starts to wake up before the kids do and once my brain is awake, there is no turning back!

6. I love dogs, but extremely dislike cats and rabbits. I'm not sure why, but holding a cat or rabbit disgusts me. I can't stand how you can feel their bones through their skin when you're holding them. I think I must have grown up around a lot of scary neighborhood cats when I was a kid or something....anyway?!

That's funny...I have the same quirks! I hate ending a treadmill workout if it's not right at the end of a minute. I also hate it if I haven't completed a full "lap." So I try to time things right so that I end a lap at the same time a minute ends. Does that make sense? I also can't go without at least some makeup, or without washing, etc. before bed. I don't hate rabbits, but I do hate cats. And I can't sleep in. But I think that's from kids more than dad. Dad just made it so I can't waste time in the morning. I feel like if I haven't showered by 9 or 10 am I'm totally wasting my day. Blah. I'm glad you got to see a CA friend. And you'll have to tell me about the Primary Program. Ours was today, too. Parker sat next to me while I led the music and held up a big smiley face for the congregation when I wasn't looking. Ha ha. OK...long comment! I obviously haven't talked to you today. Love ya!

So fun to learn new things about you. You work out everyday and take care of your skin before bed. I admire you for that.

You are so funny!!! I am also a BIG musical fan I love watching them new and old it doesn't really matter. I will sing songs from them for days. I also HATE cats and rabbits. I am NOT a big dog fan either. I think that is due to the fact that Kennedy has asthma and they are a BIG cause of that. I hate cats and I have made all my kids dislike cats too.

Primary program... We had ours today too. I love hearing the kids sing it is my favorite part of the program.

I also like you new vinyl sayings, how cute!!!

I'd like to hear about disco dancing with 4th graders . . . :)
Anyway, lots of your quirks I wish I had! Waking up early for me is so hard. And to be able to say you exercise everyday - that is really a great feat! Also, I'm laughing about the cat thing because my mom remembers watching you walk up our driveway to come play and then seeing Twinkle on our doorstep and turning around and walking back home because you were afraid of her. Maybe we were the ones with the scary, starving cat!

I used to want to be on stage and sing too. I knew every song sang in the Sound of Music and would sing them DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY! LOL
You go girl with the workouts and the face cleaning! I wish I could say the same!
And the lettering! I LOVE it. I just checked out your page!

Shouldn't life have background music?

Ok, so I'm starting to understand why you are so beautiful...you work so hard at it! Washing your face, exercising daily, sometimes twice...pinch me so I know it's not a dream! You are amazing!!!

I do have the treadmill minutes problem too...It really bugs when your ending on an odd number!

And I am the same about wearing make-up everywhere. People give me such a hard time about it...yes, even when I'm camping..the make up has to be on!!

And finally that's a really great thing your dad taught you...My brain doesn't wake up until noon!

#1 & #3 are so me too. If I do something out of order then I usually forget it and that is awful. I always where makeup, always! My friends all think it is so funny that I never have a day when I don't, but that is just me. Great minds think alike.

I wanted to ask you what foundation/powder you use, I am thinking of changing mine and yours looks so good???

Well, I feel bettter now. I thought I was the only little girl who used to sing on the playground. I also used to sing the song Maria sang on the bus"I have confidence in me" when I rode the bus home from school. I'm sure my bus driver thought I was wacko!

In high school Alicia and her friend would watch Grease every weekend. Yuck! And her little girl was at the cabin when she was 2 and loved(I hope she has moved on) Willy Wonka. I think she watched it 10 times in one weekend, I was begging for anything else. Love musicals not every weekend or every hour.

I hate cats too. They are gross! I do love dogs, but could do without their hair or slobber...or poop:)

Cute post!

Kimberly you are so cute! It was fun to talk the other day. I know now what my problem is: I don't exercise as well as I used to and I've never worn make-up (much to my girls dismay & confusion). I guess that's why I look the way I do!! :D I keep saying someday I should try maybe it would help but I never seem to get around to it. :D P.S. I'm finally starting that blog I wanted to over a year ago.

I didn't know you were so OCD. That is funny. The bit about the cats made me laugh. You are so funny. Glad to hear you are having more adventures. Only in Utah do dogs get shot at. Can you imagine if that happened in San Diego? I'm sure sentencing for killing a dog is the same for killing a person. At least people around here treat their dogs like people.

I am now convinced that you and I are long lost sisters. Are you sure your mom didn't get PG in high school and give the baby to my parents? Because I AM JUST LIKE YOU. EXACTLY.

Except for the sleeping in thing. I can TOTALLY sleep in. Love it.

A dog got shot for stealing a chicken??? Do you live in Honduras? Geez!

I laughed at Stacy's comment that her mom saw you leave because Twinkle was on the front porch. That's soooo funny! I remember you doing that too.

Toooooo funny! I have the not sleeping in gene as well. The latest I've gone in the last few years is 7:30 a.m. Very sad, indeed!

I have to hear more about the disco and subbing. Feeling the bones through a cat/rabbit's skin IS so gross! I'm really impressd that you work out every day. Fun stuff!
