Sunday Bike Ride

We are having the best weather here in San Diego! Yesterday it was so hot that we actually came home from church and turned on the air conditioning. Luke got a new superman bike for his birthday and loves to ride it! Taylor has had a bike for a year now and Luke is already faster and better at riding a bike than she is. Taylor is always so cautious in everything that she does. Her training wheels are a little lop-sided and every time her bike flips from one side of the training wheels to the other, she freaks out a little and screams. However, since Luke is so much faster than she is, it has inspired her be a little more adventurous and to be a better bike rider than Luke. She is always reminding Luke that her bike is bigger than his and she is older and bigger than him. I think she is trying to intimidate him or something. Anyway, since yesterday was such a beautiful day, we decided to put the kids bikes in the car and take them up to the parking lot at our new church building. It was fun watching them ride around the building while Devon skated on his roller blades next to them. Poor Blake wants to ride a bike so bad! He did not want to sit in the stroller and watch! So, when they were all done, we let him sit on Luke's bike for a minute and loved it! Luke did not want to share his bike with Blake and started to cry and told me his "feelings were just hurting." What a cutie!
