That's A Bummer!
Yesterday Devon stayed home from work sick. Today, now that he is back at work, Luke has constantly been asking me, "Where is Daddy?" I keep telling him he is at work. All day, he has been asking me "why?" "Why, why, why, why, why?" I tried to explain to him that Daddy has to work so we can pay our bills (why?), so we can buy food (why?). Then the conversation turned to "why do we need food?" I told him we need food so our bodies can grow. Finally, more questions about why we need food. So, I finally told him that our bodies would die without food. That ended his questions and he said, "Oh, that's bad. That would be a bummer." I thought that was so cute.

Bummer! Kids learn the weirdest words.
I remember the "why" questions...it is so funny that you put an end to the conversation with the "because we'll die" statement! Even more funny is luke saying that would be a bummer!! That made me laugh!
I love the comments that you have left on my blog so I have your mom holding on the phone so that I can put a comment on the bummer! Luke is so funny and your way of handling it was even funnier. I love comments.
That is really funny...that would definitely be a bummer!
I love the things kids say! Cute pictures- the kids are getting so big!
That is so funny! Emma has become obsessed with dying, I blame it on Charlotte's Web. She has so many funny questions that I have NO CLUE how to answer. I love that Luke said it was a bummer...where do little kids learn their words!
