Lemonade For Sale

Today, at Taylor's pre-school, they had a lemonade stand. Earlier in the week they washed and juiced lemons. Each of them had the chance to taste the lemon juice without any added water or sugar, but very few liked it. I wonder why?
Taylor was very specific when she left for school this morning, that it was my job to bring 25cents and containers to buy and take lemonade home. When we arrived, they were eagerly waiting at the front gate to collect our money and pour us a glass of lemonade.
Luke loved the Lemonade! He kept saying over and over "Mom, I really like sour lemonade." It was a little sour and had a lot of kick to it! I guess that's what happens when pre-schoolers make their own lemonade . Overall, the girls did a good job mixing it.
They made sure to tell me that the secret recipe called for 5 cups of water and as much sugar as you wanted! Taylor and Abbie made this sign that they are standing in front of. They were all so proud and happy to take home their containers of home made lemonade!

I'm sure Taylor will want to make a sell lemonade all summer long now...you'd better plant a lemon tree!! I'll bet that sign took a long time to make...I'm glad you got a picture of it. Remember..."When life hands you lemons...make lemonade!"

Taylor takes after her uncle Michael. James and I used to sell things on the side of the road, but for us, it involved walking to Smith's from our house to buy the supplies, walking home, making the drink, walking to the corner of Yorba Linda and Hamer with a table and two chairs, and selling hardly any of what we made...I guess people were driving too fast, and they had to turn around if they wanted what we were selling.

Taylor is so darn cute and has her very own idea's how things should be done. I agree with your mom that you better plant a lemon tree. The pictures that you post give me such a lift in the morning when i GET MY CHANCE AT MY COMPUTER. KIMBERLY, YOU ARE SUCH A CUTE MOM!!!!

That's really cute! I love that Luke liked the "sour lemonade". Taylor will be the domestic child in your home just like you were in ours!

Kimberly - LOVE YOUR BLOG! I'm loving the blog world, but can't get anyone in my family to jump on. It's such a fun way to keep in touch.

Had a blast with your kids last weekend - Josh laughed at all the stories, especially me being "Hannah Mom." They are adorable and I'll do it again in a second.
