Devons 30th Birthday was on Sunday and it was a blast! It's very rare that we get to go out, let alone, two nights in a row! Saturday, we celebrated out at his favorite restaurant Flemings and Sunday (yes, I know, Sunday) we went Toby Keith's Big Dog Daddy Concert. Toby Keith was incredible!!! He looked incredible, sounded incredible....the whole thing was just, what can I say, Awesome! Besides, there is just something sexy about a man in a half unbuttoned shirt and a cowboy hat singing.
It's hard to believe that Devon is 30 and my big day is only less than two months away! Devon is the greatest and I thought it would only be appropriate to make a birthday dedication to him in a Big Dog Daddy Way!
Devon and I absolutely love Toby Keith, so it was only appropriate that we celebrate Devon's birthday with him. My birthday dedication for Devon is the "Taliban Song" since it was the only one of Devon's favorites that he didn't hear. The words alone don't do this song all the justice it deserves, but this will have to do. Happy Birthday, Devon! You are the most patriotic person I know so it is only fitting to salute you on this day with a special Patriotic Love Song!I love you!

That is very fitting that you put a patriotic love song on your blog as a dedication to Devo for his Bday. He's the most patriotic person I know...also a fitting tribute on September 11th...the song really is better sung, though. I'm glad you celebrated his Birthday in a BIG way since it's the BIG 30. Hey, that is funny. Jeff's birthday was on Saturday. I didn't know their birthdays were so close. Sounds like you did something more fun than we did. I'm jealous. We took the kids to Tijuana. It was still fun but a night out to a concert sounds a lot more fun.
Happy Birthday, Devon! What a great way to celebrate. The Lord loves music, right? So concerts on Sunday aren't that bad... :-) We'd have totally done the same thing.
My only question is what would your father think about you going to a concert on a Sunday?

Oh...but it's Toby Keith!!! I only wish I could have been there. Remember when dad had my ring tone to "Whiskey for my Men, Beer for my Horses"? He changed it after it rang during a PPI at the church! What's he going to do with me!!! Happy birthday Devo!

Kimberly I think about you every Halloween, It's coming fast. Seems like just yesterday I turned 30........where does the time go I'll be 33 this year, CRAZY! Funny I had to think about how old I was there for a few minutes...I actually had to count the years to remember........32 or 33???? But Yeah it's 33.....memory is burnt out. (smile)

YES!! another happily married woman - in love with toby! Ted and I love him too and have been to 2 of his concert here - he is great! everyone's gotta love the Taliban song!
