This collage is a brief overview of our first week in June.
- Luke finished his first year of preschool.
- Blake pretended it was his preschool graduation party as well
- Taylor and Avery dressed up in their dance recital costumes and performed for us.
- The kids discovered, once again, that eating the cake batter is much better than eating the cake itself.
- We said our first of many goodbyes to Darci and Brett! A day at the park and they treated us to a night out to our favorite Hibachi steak house. What a treat!

Don't you hate goodbyes?! I just call them "see you later"s. Somehow that sounds better. Good luck with the move! Utah is not so bad ya know!! (We even have a beach, of a different sort)
The batter is the best part of the cake, I still devour the bowl.
I have been very sad since we came and saw you guys, but I know you guys are doing what you need to.
I love these collages. I keep thinking I will wake up from a bad dream and you guys won't really be moving. Things are just not going to be the same without the Dowdells.

I keep thinking about the song, "You say goodbye, I say hello....hello, hello...I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello!" You have to say goodbye to everyone else, but you also get to say HELLO to me! Yippeeeee! I know it's hard, but I really am excited for you to be closer. Cute pictures!

Moving is really hard - I know. Believe me, I know all too well. Hang in there - you will love your new state and new friends, too. Cute pics of the kids!
