To My Man!

Happy Father's Day, Devon! Thank you for making the last 13 years of my life so amazing and memorable! Here are a few of my favorite memories:
  • Spotting you in the 8th grade, wearing your BYU sweatshirt, and thinking you looked so cute!
  • Having you "flirt" with me in 9th grade seminary by telling me I had "split ends"
  • Swing dancing together
  • Driving around for hours listening to Chicago's Greatest Hits
  • Driving to our look out place, "Twin Peaks," and talking for hours
  • Sharing the big ice cream brownie sundaes at Norms
  • High School Graduation
  • Trips back and forth from Rexburg to the O.C.
  • Getting Engaged
  • Getting Married
  • The time you were bit by a spider and thought you were going to die. In fact, you captured the spider in a cup and traveled with it all the way to the E.R. just in case it was poisonous, so the doctors would know what kind of spider killed you!
  • The days each of our children were born
  • The way you sing the itsy bitsy spider
  • Watching you play games, interact, and love each of our children
  • The way you look at me
  • The way you kiss me and tell me you love me
You are the man of my dreams. Thank you for making each day of our lives exciting and memorable. I love you!

HA, that make out comment cracks me up, only because I've been there and done that....parked and "talked" for hours I mean. HEHEHE
I'm so happy for you and your family. Happiness is what makes life the beautiful thing it is!

Happy Father's Day to Devon. He's made the last 13 years pretty fun for me, too. Also, I can't believe that Taylor is in dance recitals and leaving kindergarten. I always say this, but it's weird that she is in kindergarten, because if she's anything like me, she's gonna remember a lot of that. I was her age when we moved to California. Your kids are pretty dang cute.

You and Devon make a great couple. This blog left me wanting more details . . . what did the doctor say when Devon brought in the Spider? What happened at graduation? How did you get engaged? Someday you'll have to fill me in.

What a beautiful family picture! It is perfect in every way. How did you get everyone all cleaned up and cooperative at the same time?? I love it. Very nice tribute.
