Our lives have been quite busy the last 2 weeks, hence the lack in blogging. So. Here is an update...
- We put our house up for sale May 1st.
- I have scrubbed floors and tubs, polished sinks, taps, and mirrors, vacuumed, dusted, washed/folded laundry, and picked up toys approximately 28 times in the last 30 days.
- I have cooked dinner approximately 4 times in the last 30 days.
- Watched American Idol, Greys Anatomy, and Lost Season Finales...loved them all!
- Planned to attend Grandpa's 80th birthday party
- 2 nights before the planned trip, Devon came down with food poisoning.
- Despite his aches and pains we still traveled 12 hours in the car to be with family.
- We enjoyed family (especially kissing our new neice) , the mountains, bubble baths, geodes, good food, and more.
- We had an offer on our house.
- We countered the offer, they countered back, and we accepted.
- Escrow closes June 27th.
- We drove 12 hours home.
- Taylor had a stomach ache all the way home.
- Taylor had a visit to the E.R. to find out she was really constipated...poor girl!
- We are now planning a move to Utah.
- I have cried and cried, but I am trying to count my blessings and see the good in all this.

Wow, that's big news! Congrats on selling the house and making the big move. We just turned down a job offer in Utah, and I know what a big decision those things can be. Make time to relax this month.
I'd say that's all REALLY BIG news. Glad the house went fast. Hit that beach one more time for me, before you go, will you? Sigh. Still miss it.
Holy Cow! I was wondering what happened to you in blog-land. So you are coming back here....where are you thinking about moving to?
I'm sorry its hard. I know you love it there. Even if you are wanting to move, its never an easy thing to do, emotionally or otherwise.
Keep your chin up! Silver linings may not make themselves known right away but they are there!
I bet it feels nice to have the stress of trying to sell your house over with. How fun for you to be closer to your sis and bro! Plus all the other family that is there. I am just a little jealous. Okay.... a lot! Good luck.
Oh my goodness, you have really been through bunches these last few weeks and sounds like you have more to go through to get packed and moved. Wish I was there to help! Keep us posted when you get time.

I love the picture collage. You will have to show me how to do that. I'm feeling really upset about you moving. There is a terrible sadness in the air. We will have to go to the park tons of times and the beach before you go.
My one trip for road trips is to always take some prune juice. Long car rides and dry snacks are the worst for constipating.
I meant my one tip. Hope Taylor has recovered from her bad day at the park.
So crazy!!! What are we going to do with no other family around us???? We will miss you guys terribly. Tell Taylor we are so sorry, the ER is NEVER fun, atleast it wasn't anything worse :)
Well, I am excited that you will be closer, hopefully we will get to see more of you and your adorable family!!!! You have been through so much, that has to be so hard to move away from a place that you have been for so long:-( I hope that the move goes smoothly for you!! I am happy for you that your house sold so quickly!!! Hang in there!!!
Oh my goodness what a news!! First of all, I want to say that what a great thing that someone bought your house so quickly. I know many people that are stuck with their homes, since the market (at least in Utah) changed so much, so soon. So Yay for that! And then about the crying part. I know how torn people can feel about moving. New times ahead, new adventures, the excitement... yet, the sadness. California has been your home for so long, that I'm sure it's so hard to leave it behind! But furthermore, I'm sure that new wonderful things are waiting you ahead. :)
I know everything is REALLY, REALLY hard right now. I'm really tempted to drive myself to San Diego next week while Joe's out of town to help you, and to stay with family in California for the last time! Once all the hard stuff is over, though, you will be closer to ME, and I NEED YOU HERE!!!!! Even if you're not SUPER close, you'll be closer! There's a reason for everything...you already know that...someday we'll know why things work out the way they do. Love the collage, by the way!
Oh my, that is a busy couple of weeks! And quite the news! I want to say congratulations, but I live in Utah, so I know what you are leaving and I'm crying with you. I miss Cali so much. BUT, on the other had, you will be in Utah and it has a lot of good things about it! I hope things go smoothly for you! WOW!
We don't always know why things happen as they do but I know that you and Devon will be happy anywhere you are and that is what really counts. Love you lots!!!
I'm sad that you have to leave California when you love it so much. Hopefully you'll find as many things to love about Utah once you get there and get settled. What part of Utah are you moving to? Maybe I'll be able to visit you sometime when we're visiting family.

I have been MIA for a few weeks and thought I'd get a little pick me up by reading blogs. I'm trying to see with all these tears in my eyes. California is just well....it's California!!! I cried a lot when I had to leave it. Oh yeah...I seem to remember how many tears I shed when I moved to California from where I thought the best place in the world was....UTAH!

I'm sad you are leaving beautiful San Diego! I would hate having to leave the beautiful beach behind...but I bet you will always be a Cali girl because you just have it in you :) Hope everything goes smoothly and you guys find an amazing place to settle down in Utah! Hey Utah's not so bad, I always think that the best milkshakes are in Utah!

Love the pictures, so fun to Michael in there with the kids... everyone here is excited to have your family coming to Utah, we love you so much and can't wait to get really aquainted with the kids again, at least for more than a week at a time!! You may find some peace of mind here..it is much quieter and cheaper(: (: Every change in my life has been very hard to accept, but I look back and see in me such growth and trust,,knowing it has all been for my good. Some one knows me better than I do my self!!!!
That is big news! Congrats on selling your home pretty quickly, I know that a lot of homes aren't selling (even in CA). I think Darci said you guys are going to be in St. George, but if you ever make it up to (or move to) Salt Lake we'll have to get together ... I think that Blake and my Mason are pretty close in age, aren't they? Good luck with everything in the next few weeks, it's going to be crazy, I'm sure! :)

well all I can say is that the Bunkers are really sad you guys are moving. You will be missed terribly. I'll never forget how nice and welcoming you were to me when we first moved into this ward. ugh, I can't think about it. Talk about June Gloom!
