Little Blakey...whenever we tell him to "smile" he says, "CHEEEE!" I can't help but laugh every time he says it!
Watching my babies love each other, play with each other, and explore the outdoors.
The mountains, the fresh air, and the beauty.
Watching my boys grow up. They are two little men on a mission to explore, discover, and enjoy life!
Laughing and smiling at the amount of dirt their little hands and faces collect during the day. Smiling even more when I wash it off and watch it go down the drain at the end of the day!
Watching these two little boys have more fun playing with water and dirt than playing with sand in a sandbox!
Watching their determination as they build their stream.
Looking for Blakes shoes ALL DAY and finding them in the fridge!
Watching Blake sleep. This is nice because he hasn't been doing much of it lately.
Other things that make me smile:
- Ice Cold Coke in the fridge (even though I'm not currently drinking it, man I could really use a sip!)
- Swearing off sugar for a week and (so far) sticking to it!
- Taylor coming home from school with a smile on her face
- Finding a preschool for Luke
- Taking the kids to see Star Wars
- Cost Vida (YUM!)
- Naps (for me)
- Teaching my first Step Class

Hey, like reading your guys' blog. I am bad at posting comments. We sure really miss you guys here. I have been meaning to call Devon. Hope you guys are adjusting to your new place. Say Hi to Devon. It is just not the same without you guys here. Hopefully we will meet up somewhere soon. How about Vegas??
Ok, I had to laugh when I opened this and saw Jeff had posted a comment. He is sitting on his laptop in the other room supposedly "working." Now I know how he really spends his time. I just gave him a hard time. I guess Jeff is coming clean from all his lurking.
So the pictures of your back yard remind me of the back yard I had growing up. It might seem strange but I feel jealous your kids can play in all that mud and dirt. I want my kids to do that too and I miss the mountains. See, we really are going to have to move sometime.
Love the shoes in the fridge. Blake is getting so big. I almost started crying the other day because Andy is talking so much. I just want to freeze them little. They grow so fast. I'm going to send you an e-mail with some gossip now.
Those pictures are so cute. It makes me wish I was there to watch and to help build the stream. Funny that his shoes were in the fridge. I know I've done that with more than one thing over the years. TV remotes end up in there a lot!
PS, just checked out your other blog. Looks good with the buttons. I can just see the money rolling in now!
These pictures made me smile! Looks like Blake was worn out working so hard! Too funny with the shoes in the fridge!
Kudos to you for not drinking Coke or eating Sugar! Where's that momma of yours lately? :-)
I loved your pictures. It sounds like your adjusting pretty well. I think no matter what age boys have to build, which always ends with a mess! But it is fun to watch.:)
Beautiful pics. I can't believe how big Blake is getting! He doesn't look like a baby anymore. So, so cute. Way to appreciate the simple things in love that make us all happy.
How cute! Your daughter looks just like you! She's a mini-kimberly!
What would we ever smile about without our sweet little kids? And yours are adorable!
No sugar for a week? You have lost your mind! I am WAY impressed (but I also feel bad for you)!
I love that the shoes were in the fridge, classic Blake. Those pictures are great, I loved all the ones that I took there, it was so picture perfect. Didn't any of the family ones turn out good???
You make me smile! Thanks for posting such great pictures of the kids. It looks like The Sound of Music! You guys should take a picture of your family holding hands running through the meadow singing...."the hills are alive, with the sound of music....."
It's a good thing the fridge gets opened often enough to be able to find the shoes. Michael put Dad's dress shoes in a cooler once. It was a miracle we ever found them.
That is so funny about the shoes in the fridge. Did he put them there or you? Both my kids and myself have done very similar things involving weird items in the fridge. Very cute pictures, I love being outside. What is Cost Vida? You put the word yum. That word always seems to affect me. I read Cost Vida (YUM!) and thought "mmmmmmmmm yum... wait, I don't know what that is." I swore off sugar once for 6 weeks. When you go back, everything will probably taste way too sweet for a while. Cute blog.
Oh those mountains look so familiar. It's been a couple of years since we've been up to our family cabin at Panguitch Lake. When we make it down that way we'll have to invite you guys up!!
What darling kids! And
boys + dirt = FUN in the MUD!
I'm glad you are patient enough to just let them go for it...? That's way better than I could do!
Shoes in the fridge...that's awesome! It's better than finding your cat in there!!! (my sister found her cat in a pot in the fridge...her daughter said she was "cooking dinner")
And good for you on the no sugar! I could never do those diets! I last a week and it's all over!! I love cake way too much!! :]
Man...I'm not used to being so low down on the comment list! Everyone else already said what I wanted to say. I did love the shoes in the fridge. I don't think Parker knows how to open the fridge yet, but once he figures it out, I'm sure I'll find lots of "special food" in there...like shoes!
Loved the shoes in the fridge. That is hilarious.
I can't believe how big all your kids are! Spring and Fall (for some reason) make me realize how fast time is going by and how fast my kids are growing up. I need to take your advice and cherish the everyday things.
(I could use a sip of that coke myself.....)
Nothing like two boys and mud for a really great combination. Thanks for sharing the pictures and the thoughts, all wonderful.
love all the pictures, but my favorite is the one of the shoes in the fridge. too cute!
I can't believe how beautiful it is where you guys live! Those pictures make me want to pack up and head for the hills. Hilarious about the shoes!
