HELP!

I have been asked to teach a class at Enrichment next Wednesday and need your help! My assignment is to come up with some fun summer activities to do with your kids while they are home for the summer. I have come up with a few ideas of my own, but I need more! I am looking for anything from recipes, snacks, books to read, videos, games, crafts, outings, or indoor/outdoor fun. Send your suggestions my way...I am desperate!

I will ask around this week and find some things out.

Jamie, Harm and I always made potions outside, with dirt, water, plants, etc. that is always fun.

Aly has a magazine called "Family Fun" you could probably get some issues at the library. It is full of all kinds of ideas, games, food etc. The birthday cake she did for Max is in it.

I'm feeling good now knowing this assigment is making you "desperate." I am so sorry. I promise it wasn't my idea. I know you will do a great job though. Wish I had some good ideas for you. I'm coming to learn.

You were announced in RS this past SUnday as the teacher of that class and Carrie Olson said something about how amazing, cute and creative you are and how you always have so many ideas! No pressure. Can't wait to hear what you come up with. I'll let you know if I can think of anything besides going to the beach.

Good luck...I'm not very creative with that kind of stuff. I'll ask around for you, though!

We do a lot of sprinklers and popsicles. Not original I know, but when I make it a little picnic in the front yard and they can invite their friends over, its actually pretty fun.
You don't need luck, you have so much to offer. No sweat!!!

I wish our ward would do an activity like this! I'm starting to get nervous about Summer and having all 4 little ones home all day with me. I'll let you know what I come up with...

I agree with Tina. I remember having friends over and just playing in the water outside. You don't need to spend a lot of money to entertain kids. I do think it's great to get outdoors though. Hikes, bikes, kites...etc.
