This is a picture of me and my childhood best friend, Stacy. She and I did everything together from riding bikes, sleepovers, making up dances to "Straight Up" for hours in our basements, etc.After all these years, we still keep in touch. She recently read THIS post and sent me a surprise package in the mail.
Sunglasses for "laying in the beach, somewhere in the Virgin Islands soaking up the sun and drinking a cold drink."An Aroma Therapy candle for stress relief. The idea is to light it and have the husband give me a massage at the same time so I can pretend I am at the spa.
Popcorn to eat while watching McDreamy on the TV. After all, I do love watching Grey's Anatomy.
A mini pillow for "taking a nap."
A new "Lucky $1 Bill" so I can continue trying to win my radio contest and imagine spending it at the local mall.

You would think it was my birthday or something, but I also had two friends stop by and give me flowers last week. AND, another friend stopped by to give me a box of chocolates. Wow! I don't know what I did to deserve such good friends.

If I can say one thing about you...it's that you are a REAL friend! How fun to hear from Stacy! It seems like yesterday you guys were forcing (I mean asking) me to watch your made up dances. I loved it!!!
Friends are such a special part of our lives. I have a little saying on the wall that a good friend gave me, it says "Friends are angels that lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly". It is so great to see that picture with you and Stacy!
I'm so impressed you stay in contact with your childhood friends. How sweet of her to send you a package out of the blue and then to get flowers and chocolates too! I love unexpected things like that. Girls seem to understand that concept.
