Uncle Curtis, next door, is a Helicopter pilot. He recently flew his helicopter back from Mexico and before cleaning it up and flying it back to the hangar, he let the kids take a look and hang out in the cock pit.
Obviously, Luke and Blake LOVED it!
It's not every day you get to hang out in a helicopter for fun! Cool, huh?

I remember I rode on one of those in Hawaii 7 years ago and I felt so fragile. I also admired the pilot because it looked like there were a zillion controls and pedals. Too bad he was trying to give us a tour and he was Japanese and could barely speak any English. I think we just laughed the whole time. Sorry, the helicopter took me down memory lane! Cute pictures.

Oh my gosh Kimberly what a thrill for the kids and the pictures are great. I just love the look on their faces. We we took a tour of the islands when we were in Hawaii and it was great but kind of scarey when the pilot would take us down low to get a good look at the scenes below. I love how your kids are getting their experiences. Love ya.
That is so cool. Love Blakes smile. Your kids' cousins can dress as a pilot on professional day at school. Jerome was at lost at what to dress in back at Adobe Bluff. Scott suggested wearing a suit and being a marketing manager like him. Jerome looked at him with this disgusted look and said, "Papa! Nobody wants to become a marketing manager." We laughed so hard.

I know we are so spoiled. It is awesome that we have had a ride in a helicopter, not alot of people have. Luke and Blake are so cool looking with the helmet on in the cockpit!!!

You know, if you got in that helicopter, I'm sure you could get to Provo even faster than driving. Maybe you should commission Curtis to bring you up for a visit. Then I can get my picture taken, too.
My little guy would have LOVED that. I've only been in a chopper once--when we were in Hawaii. Seeing this makes me want to give it another try!
